Gary Neville has taken to Twitter to slam Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku following his move to Inter Milan on transfer deadline day.

Lukaku's two years at United have ended as he has sealed a move to the Serie A side for a proposed fee of £74 million, just shy of the £75 million paid to Everton in 2017.

Lukaku has signed a five year deal.

He scored 42 goals in 96 games during his time at Old Trafford, but many supporters remained unconvinced by the 26-year-old.

One supporter is club legend Gary Neville, who blasted Lukaku on Twitter for his 'unproffesionalism'.

Replying to journalist Andy Mitten's well wishes for the forward, the 'Sky Sports' pundit didn't hold back in his feelings towards Belgium's all time top goalscorer.

Neville slams Lukaku for admitting to being overweight, as well as stating his 'uproffesionalism is contagious.'

This isn't the first time that Neville has taken issue with the strikers fitness.

Neville commentated on United vs Chelsea in April which ironically ended up as the Belgian's final game for United.

The 44-year-old commented on Lukaku's fitness, explaining he looked fatigued by the half-hour mark of the crucial game.

I genuinely think it's a fitness issue," the 'Class Of 92' alumni exclaimed. "Look at him on the edge of the box now - he's knackered!"

Lukaku's exit has also created controversy, following the posting of confidential training information on his Twitter account in the last week.

He spent the week training with first club Anderlecht while waiting for the transfer to materialise.

Inter Milan will be content with the signing, as Antonio Conte gets a forward he has been interested in since his days as Chelsea manager.
