Willian’s Agent Gives Damning Analysis Of Arsenal After Transfer, They're A Complete Mess

Willian's agent Kia Joorabchian has not held back in his criticism of Arsenal following the player's departure from the club earlier today.
Willian terminated his £220,000-a-week contract this morning after a less than impressive spell in North London to join Brazilian side Corinthians for a significantly lower salary.
But despite reaching an agreement to go their separate ways, The Sun reports that there is some bad blood between the player's agent and the club.

"He didn't go to (Arsenal) for the money," Joorabchian said. "He went for the project and the project wasn't there.
What player has gone to Arsenal recently and has not been a disaster? Willian wasn't the problem."
However, Joorabchian was quick to defender under fire manager Mikel Arteta, who brought Willian to the club a year ago.
"Willian doesn't blame Arteta," the agent continued. "Even as fans, they may be disgruntled at the moment but any fan of any football club always wants the best.

At the moment the project has not worked, it's not about Willian."
After making the switch to Corinthians, Willian took to Instagram to share his thoughts on his time at The Emirates Stadium.
"Unfortunately things on the pitch didn't go the way we had all planned and hoped," the player said. "I received a lot of criticism especially from some members of the press that I had come here for financial reasons.
I hope... they now understand that was not the case. Ally my career I have done everything to be the best I can be. I always want to win and find it hard to accept not doing so. Unfortunately it didn't happen for me at Arsenal and I am sorry about that."
Willian made 25 appearances whilst at Arsenal, scoring just 1 goal for the club in May 2021.
His greatest years in England were at his former club Chelsea, where he won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, an EFL Cup and a Europa League in 2019.
