Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored for LA Galaxy last night to take his goal tally to 300 since turning 30 years old.

The 37-year-old netted for LA Galaxy against Montreal Impact in the early hours of the morning to take his tally to 300 in the last seven years.

It's pretty impressive considering before turning 30 he scored 232 goals in his first 12 years as a pro.

In the last seven years he's spread his goal scoring across four different leagues and picked up a variety of trophies.

At club level he's scored 32 goals for AC Milan, 156 for Paris Saint-Germain, 29 for Manchester United and 49 for LA Galaxy.

At international level he scored 34 for Sweden before retiring in 2016.

In that time he's also won one Serie A, four Ligue 1 titles as well as a Europa League with Manchester United.

A slew of French League cups in Paris as well as a League Cup at Old Trafford round off the trophy cabinet.

He played at more clubs before turning 30 including global powerhouses such as Barcelona and Juventus.

A striker has normally reached their peak by 30 and steadily decline before retirement but Zlatan clearly isn't like most strikers.

His 300th goal was typical Zlatan too.

The Swede found himself in the right place at the right time as a deflected shot bounced in front of him and he pounced to score his 27th goal of the season.

He has had an unreal season in the MLS so far and scored a hat-trick last week as Galaxy stormed to a 7-2 victory against Sporting Kansas City.

Last week was also when he broke the MLS outfit's goal scoring record in a season, overtaking Carlos Ruiz who scored 24 in 2002.

LA Galaxy currently sit third in the MLS Western Conference, two points behind Seattle Sounders.

Zlatan is one of the games biggest icons and as long as he keeps playing, we're sure he'll keep breaking records.
