Manchester United fans loved Scott McTominay's reaction to going 3-0 up against Chelsea on Sunday.

The 22-year-old midfielder was seen on TV cameras giving his team a pep-talk in a huddle as they celebrated Marcus Rashford's second goal.

The rising star could be heard shouting "we go again" to his team-mates even with a three-goal lead in the bag on Frank Lampard's men.

And Red Devils fans loved the leadership and mentality on show from such a young midfielder.

Rashford scored his second goal of the day to put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men 3-0 ahead and the players ran to the corner to celebrate.

And while they were huddled and congratulating the English striker, McTominay chimed in with a few words of motivation, too.

One fan said: "McTominay for captain. Keane-esque handing out a lecture after we got three up."

Another Twitter user wrote: "Also McTominay has been impressive. Not just the way he plays. He looks a real leader at such a young age."

Another post on social media read: "McTominay doing captain things in that huddle Love the McSauce."

Manchester United ran riot on Chelsea on Sunday in a thumping 4-0 win to open their Premier League season.

Rashford gave them the lead from the penalty spot during a close first-half in which Chelsea hit the woodwork twice.

But Solskjaer's men pulled away after half-time in devastating fashion on the counter-attack.

Anthony Martial doubled their lead after converting a low cross before Rashford added his second, taking in a delightful long ball from Paul Pogba before sliding it past Kepa.

Daniel James replaced Andreas Pereira in the 74th minute - and his goal rounded off a brilliant opening weekend for Manchester United.
