Manchester United's CEO Ed Woodward has been pictured allegedly arguing with the club's legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

United drew 3-3 with Sheffield United after coming back from 2-0 down.

But an image has surfaced of Woodward and Ferguson in the stands and the duo were allegedly exchanging words.

United fans on Twitter have reacted over the reported exchange and they are in defiant defense of their legendary manager.

United went behind to a John Fleck goal which was born from a Phil Jones blunder.

The English centre-back tried to clear the ball and was sent flying to the floor by the Lys Mousset.

'The Blades' dominated the half and were unlucky to not be further ahead.

Jones saw himself brought off at half-time for Jesse Lingard.

Chris Wilder's side doubled their lead in the second half thanks to Mousset who slotted the ball past David De Gea.

Brandon Williams netted his first United goal less than 20 minutes from time to set United's comeback trail going.

Mason Greenwood was introduced in the second half and scored an equaliser after a Marcus Rashford cross.

Rashford then netted a third moments later to put United ahead.

But a final twist occurred when Oli McBurnie netted a last minute equaliser to earn 'The Blades' a point.

The result leaves Solskaer's side in ninth place and nine points outside the top four.
