A decade ago, the first African-hosted World Cup produced a string of shocks and delivered some surprise superstars.

It was a tournament of upsets where Italy and France went out in the group stage, while the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba and Kaka failed to shine as people expected.

Even England and Wayne Rooney struggled at a major tournament. Who would have thought it?

But so many big sides underachieving did mean we got a few unusual star performers.

Plenty of the players in this quiz were well known going into the World Cup, but few expected them to be contenders for the Golden Ball or Boot.

From Ghana's main man to Slovakia's four-goal forward, it's time to name the 2010 World Cup heroes.
