Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Post-Match Comments Haven't Gone Down Well With Man United Fans

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken out about Marcus Rashford's penalty miss after Manchester United slumped to their first defeat of the season against Crystal Palace.
Rashford stepped up to take the penalty that would have seen United go level.
But his spot-kick cannoned off the post across the goal line seeing United miss their second penalty in five days.

Following the game, Solskjaer adopted a calm approach to the England internationals miss.
The 46 year-old seems to think that if the Red Devils keep winning penalties, then eventually they will net them.
Solskjær: "Two games, two missed penalties. It's part and parcel of it. Sometimes it happens. I have missed a few myself. If we score them it's a different story." #mulive [bbc]

Solskjær: "If we keep putting ourselves in those positions we will get more penalties and we will score. It is just one of those things. We trust them to score again." #mulive [bbc]

Despite the upbeat nature of the loss, United fans aren't very happy with this reaction from their manager.
I think that we have a higher chance of scoring from an open play than from a penalty

What a joke "more penalties", are we Burnley FC or something? Ole out.

So let's rely on penalties yeah

he knows he doesn't have proper striker playing for his team so the man is relying on penalty to score

Can you see why Ole Gunnar is a fraud. He is relying on penalties. LOL!

The Red Devils did have issues when in possession today.
Solskajer's side has been much more lethal when on the counter as evident in the 4-0 victory over Chelsea in their opening game of the season.
Furthermore, speedy forwards like Rashford, Anthony Martial and new signing Daniel James mean United will likely win a fair few spot-kicks this season after three in their first three.

However, United fans likely aren't thrilled at the prospect of that dominating their style of play.
They also won't be thrilled with four points from their first three games following defeat today.
Jordan Ayew scored Palace's opener in the first half and United thought they'd sealed a point when James equalised in the 89th minute.
However, Patrick Van Aanholt squeezed a shot under David De Gea at his near post to give Roy Hodgson's side a first victory over United in the Premier League.
