Manchester United are reportedly considering a major swap deal with one of their Premier League rivals this summer.
Ruben Amorim's side agreed a £71 million fee with Brentford on Friday to sign forward Bryan Mbeumo.
The Cameroon international is set to become United's second summer signing as Amorim's rebuild begins to take shape.

Fellow forward Matheus Cunha arrived from Wolves after the Europa League runners-up triggered his £62.5 million release clause earlier in the window.
The club also confirmed the signing of left wing-back Diego Leon, whose move to Old Trafford was finalised in January but the Mexican could only join after he turned 18 in April.
Meanwhile, five players are listed as part of United's 'bomb squad' - a group ostracised from the first team squad.
It has been reported that Jadon Sancho, Antony, Marcus Rashford, Tyrell Malacia and Alejandro Garnacho are only allowed to enter the club's Carrington training building after 5pm, and after the first team players have left.
Amorim has been given another dilemma in recent weeks, with news that goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to miss most, if not all, of pre-season due to a hamstring injury.

The Daily Mirror report that the injury is not as serious as first feared but, with doubts over the future of second-choice shot-stopper Altay Bayindir, United face heading into the new campaign without a number one.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the club are exploring a move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The Argentinian appeared to bid farewell to the Villa fans at their final home game of last season and has been persistently linked with a move away from the club.

Romano adds that United are considering whether to add their own players into the transfer as part of a swap deal.
Unai Emery's side took Rashford on loan for the second half of last season but did not trigger their £40 million option to sign the 27-year-old permanently.
They have, however, been linked with a move for Garnacho.
According to The Athletic, Amorim personally told Garnacho in front of the entire squad to find another club amid concerns over his attitude and comments made after the Europa League final.

The Argentinian was subsequently pictured wearing a Villa shirt with Rashford's name on the back.
Garnacho described United's season as 's**t' after they lost the Europa League final 1-0 to Tottenham, and publicly called out Amorim for not bringing him on earlier in the match.
He did feature on United's post-season tour of Hong Kong in May but, like the other four outcasts, was left out of the contingent that will travel to Stockholm to take on Leeds as part of United's pre-season programme.
