Yaya Toure's Agent Says He Should Play For £1 A Week To Prove Pep Guardiola Wrong
After Yaya Toure's incredible rant at manager Pep Guardiola, the Ivorian's agent has now taken a pop at the Manchester City boss.
Toure left the City with the side winning the third Premier League title in their history. But soon after, he went on a blistering against his former manager:
"I do not know why but I have the impression that he was jealous, he took me for a rival. As if I made him a little shade," Toure said to Football France.
"He was cruel to me. I came to wonder if it was not because of my colour.
"I am not the first to talk about these differences in treatment. In Barca, some have also asked the question."
The quotes have polarised fans.

1. If Yaya Toure is lying
2. Did Seidu Keita also lie?
3. Did Eto'o also lie?
4. Did Zlatan lie?
I think not.
Hello my name is Yaya Toure and I hold a grudge towards Pep Guardiola for replacing me with one of the best DMs of all time. I also get upset about birthday cakes.- Xav Salazar (@XavsFutbol) June 4, 2018

Yaya Toure just confirming what anyone who cares enough can see. Guardiola is as a despicable human being. He is the greatest PR success in football history. Extremely tactically limited manager, shitty person & a sore loser.- Babanla (@biolakazeem) June 4, 2018
They're obviously not comments you'd take lightly, and now his agent, Dimitry Seluk, who landed the midfielder in hot water with the Citizens some years ago with his own attack on Guardiola, has come out to say that Toure should move to a top six club as a free agent on just £1 a week to make a point to the Catalan boss.
"Yaya has received many offers from different countries, big money offers, but we have decided to devote the next season to Guardiola," Seluk told sport24, per Goal.
"To proving to the Manchester City fans that Yaya is not finished with football. He is full of strength and energy and wants to play in England this season.
"At a time when English clubs are spending huge sums of money on players, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move to any top-six English club as a free agent with a salary of £1 per week. As long as a success-based bonus system is in place.
"I think a player like Yaya would be good for a club like Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham or Liverpool. Yaya is a winner.
"And a top player with leadership qualities could never be a bad addition to a team, especially when he doesn't require payment."
