What David Beckham Did For A Young Fan Is Pure Class
The Pride Of Britain awards were aired on ITV last night, with one of the award winners being surprised by one of the worlds biggest celebrities.
The Pride Of Britain awards are given to those who have acted bravely or extraordinarily in challenging circumstances.
Last night, a video was shown of 11-year-old Ella Chadwick meeting David Beckham at Great Ormond Hospital in London.
Ella, who has sadly suffered from a congenital nephrotic syndrome since a young age, won the Child of Courage award for her phenomenal fundraising.
Ella has also helped make hundreds of get well cards to help other young people in hospital.
The clip begins with Ella's parents reading out a card to her from the former Manchester United man, when moments later Beckham walked through the door.
Beckham then helped the youngster deliver cards to those around the hospital while chatting with her.
The former England captain commented on Ella's outfit, saying "My daughter would love this."

Becks went on to comment on all of Ella's cards, saying, "I can't believe all these cards. You must constantly be covered in glitter."
Beckham also wrote his own card for Ella, which read,
"Dear Ella, I've been so blown away by your generosity and kindness. So, I decided to write a card especially for you."
"There is a card here with your name on it, and the reason it's gold is because you have won a Pride of Britain Award and the award is Child of Courage. Love, David Beckham."
When the clip was shown last night, Twitter was filled with reaction to the heartwarming exchange.
Well done to Becks for giving Ella a day to remember and well done to Ella for her Pride Of Britain Award.
