Raul Bobadilla is facing punishment after exposing part of his manhood during a wild goal celebration.

The 33-year-old scored late on for Club Guarani to give them a 3-2 win over Libertad in the Paraguayan Primera División quarter-final last week.

He took his shirt and GPS vest off after netting, but then went on to pull part of his shorts down in full view of the camera.

A video of the incident can be seen below.

The referee didn't get a clear view of the incident and the former Borussia Monchengladbach man went unpunished in the game.

He spoke to local media following the game and sheepishly said he hoped his wife hadn't been offended by the gesture.

"I regret my celebration. I hope my wife didn't see it," he said per The Sun.

"She should remain calm. It's all for her."

But trouble could be brewing for the Paraguayan international in regards to retrospective action.

The Asociacion Paraguaya de Futbol (Paraguayan FA) have now opened an investigation into Bobadilla after the clip went viral on social media.

Raul Prono is a member of the APF and said: "We have begun official proceedings, as we didn't receive any written complaints or anything from the referee.

"We got information from the internet, newspapers, and tapes, and they led us to this inquiry.

"We have notified Raul Bobadilla, and he has three days in which to appeal."

Guarani have since won their semi-final clash with Guairena and they take on Olimpia in the final tomorrow evening.
