With Ajax being one of the best developers of youth since the times of Rinus Michels in the 70s, and United's penchant to sell players on the cheap with teams they have good relations with, both teams should benefit greatly from the partnership.
United currently have two Ajax academy graduates now with Van De Beek's arrival, and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
The two of them grew up together in the Ajax academy, and with Van De Beek taking #34 for United to commemorate their old teammate Abdelhak Nouri.
