Ronald Koeman is ready to sell Barcelona's brightest talent from their very own academy. The Dutch manager believes he cannot count on the young talent and believes he is now surplus to his team.

Barcelona seem to currently be at a crossroads.

With Ronald Koeman stepping down as manager of the Netherlands to take over the Catalan side, Barcelona were assumed to be starting their first rebuild in nearly two decades.

However, the rebuild is already at a breaking point.

With Lionel Messi staying, the unknown future surrounding Luis Suarez, and selling Arthur Melo for Miralem Pjanic, you would've assumed that it couldn't get any worse.

However, Koeman seems to be ready to cut ties with Barcelona's current best talent that was produced in their very own La Masia academy.

Riqui Puig, 21, has reportedly been told that Koeman cannot rely on him for the foreseeable future and to find a new club.

This comes from Gerard Romero and RAC1 who said that Koeman doesn't want the Spanish youngster in his plans anytime soon.

Puig, who made 12 appearances in the senior team last season, has been seen as one of the leaders of future Barcelona teams with teammate Ansu Fati.

Seen as the next Andres Iniesta to Barcelona fans, said fans are outraged with Koeman's proposal to sell Puig.

What do you think of Ronald Koeman deciding to sell Riqui Puig?
