Real Madrid have had a disappointing season by their standards, which essentially means they haven't won the Champions League.

Manager Zinedine Zidane looks set to leave the club at the end of the season, with Massimiliano Allegri and Real Madrid Castilla coach plus club legend Raul both linked with the position.

Whoever ends up taking charge may have a big rebuilding job on their hands, with the likes of Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Marcelo all in their 30s.

Not only that, but club president Florentino Perez, in between talking to the press about how great the European Super League, has apparently earmarked ten players to be sold this summer - according to Spanish outlet AS.

Included in that number is former Chelsea man Eden Hazard, who has failed to reach his Stamford Bridge heights since arriving at the Bernabeu.

Another big name on the list is Raphael Varane, who Manchester United, Chelsea, and PSG are all supposedly fighting over.

Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marco Asensio are more well-known forwards also on their ways out, and they are joined by Marcelo, Luka Jovic, Mariano Diaz, and Borja Mayoral.

Dani Ceballos makes it ten, meaning that Arsenal may have the opportunity to sign him if they want to the this summer.

Money from sales would go towards freeing up some of the wage budget and perhaps boosting the transfer kitty for some major signings this summer, but it is yet to be seen if many clubs will be able to afford these kinds of players after a year of Covid-hit finances.
