Manchester United are reportedly intending on spending big this summer - with Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish top of their wishlist.

Football is currently shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic and it remains to be seen how that impacts the summer transfer window.

But it looks like United are still looking at splurging the cash with strengthening their attacking options the main focus.

The Evening Standard per The Sun have claimed United's targets add up to a cumulative sum of £290 million which would be United's record spend in any transfer window.

Joining Borussia Dortmund star Sancho and Aston Villa captain Grealish on the shortlist are Leicester City's James Maddison as well as Birmingham City teenage sensation Jude Bellingham.

Sancho has been tipped as the most expensive of the quartet, likely costing in the region of £120 million.

Grealish is value at around £60 million but his price could vary depending on Villa's Premier League status.

Maddison is currently valued at £80 million while Bellingham would cost £30 million to pluck from the Championship.

It's unlikely that United sign all four Englishmen but the intent from the Red Devils is there.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently stated that United are prepared to work on transfers in these delicate times, although interviewer Gary Neville played down Solskjaer's use of 'exploit'.

Solskjaer told Sky Sports: "Football is going to get back to normality at one point, and it's very important we're ready when that happens.

"We want to be the best at everything, and of course now is a chance to spend more time, you discuss players, discuss plans.

"We've evaluated what we need, of course with the coaching staff we've looked at games, evaluated games, discussing on video calls like this.

"Then, the market, who knows how the market is going to react to this? Who knows which clubs need to sell players?

"There might be just a situation there where you can exploit, and I know that we at Man United we are one of the biggest, and the biggest, financially well-off.

"I'm sure we are capable, when we get back to normality, that we can do the business that we want to."
