Liverpool are ready to let five players leave the club ahead of the domestic transfer deadline - with Harry Wilson the standout.

The domestic deadline is just two days away and Jurgen Klopp is keen to find a number of youngsters a move away by 5pm on Friday according to The Mirror.

One of those is Wales international Wilson, who spent last season on loan in the Premier League at Bournemouth.

A loan move to Swansea looks on the cards and The Reds are keen to see him develop in the same way Rhian Brewster did in his loan spell last season.

Liverpool did listen to offers for the 23-year-old in the summer, but no club met their £20 million valuation.

Ben Woodburn is free to leave on loan after seeing his career stagnate in the last few years.

He burst on the scene aged 17 years and 42 days old back in 2017 but loan spells at Sheffield United and Oxford United haven't worked out.

Nat Phillips, Liam Millar and Herbie Kane are also in line to seal moves away from Anfield in the next few days.

While Liverpool sealed the signatures of Kostas Tsimikas, Thiago and Diogo Jota in the summer, they could still bring in a new goalkeeper before Friday.

Injury to first-choice Alisson means he will be out for up to six weeks and after Adrian's performance in a 7-2 thrashing at the hands of Aston Villa, the Premier League champions wouldn't mind a new backup.

Stoke City's Jack Butland had been linked in recent days after falling out of favour at the Championship side.

Former England international Butland is one of the highest earners at Stoke, but hasn't played for the club in almost three months.

He made his Three Lions debut as a 19-year-old and was expected to become one of the world's top goalkeepers.

Following Stoke's relegation from the Premier League in 2018, the club slapped a £30 million price-tag on Butland but nobody met their valuation.

The Liverpool Echo have reported no negotiations are taking place over a deal however.

Watford veteran Ben Foster has been linked in recent days and Tottenham Hotspur were contacted over Paulo Gazzaniga's availability earlier this month.
