A former Paris Saint-Germain player has claimed that Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Pep Guardiola will all be at PSG by the start of the 2021/22 season.

With Lionel Messi handing in a transfer request to end his 19-year senior career at Barcelona, many of the big teams in football are stalking the Argentine.

One team in particular is Paris Saint-Germain, who want to team him up with his former teammate, Neymar.

Even though according to L'Equipe, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo has already contacted Messi's father, Jorge, who said that Messi has picked Manchester City as his next team.

Former PSG player, Fabrice Pancrate says otherwise and believes that Messi as well as Cristiano Ronaldo and Pep Guardiola will join the French club by the start of the 2021/22 season.

Pancrate, who played for PSG between 2004 and 2009 said:

"I'll tell you what I think. Beyond the city itself - because Manchester is ugly, it's grey, it's raining - there are plenty of things that make me say that Messi is going to Paris," Pancrate told Le Parisien.

"And Ronaldo will join him in 2021. And Guardiola too.

"I think Guardiola and Messi have spoken to each other before. Guardiola must have told him: 'We're going to mix things up. I want you in Manchester, but go to Paris and don't worry, next year I'll join you there.'

"I see it like that. And there, the slogan of PSG - 'let's dream bigger' - it makes perfect sense!"

The blue side who plays in an 'ugly' city are favourites to claim the signature of Messi.

Guardiola, the current manager at City has been spotted in Barcelona as well, supposedly flying in for talks with the Argentine.

What do you think of Pancrate's very bold claim?
