Gary Neville Believes Mohamed Salah Could Still Leave Liverpool For One Of These THREE Teams

Mohamed Salah is currently in the form of his life, but one pundit doesn't think he'll be gracing Anfield for too much longer.

According to Gary Neville, the Egyptian may be tempted to move abroad in the coming years, with the three clubs in particular name-dropped.

Salah has recently scored two goal of the season contenders in as many weeks, firing home against Manchester City a fortnight ago, before his piece of individual brilliance against Watford on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool were thought to be preparing a new contract for the 28-year-old, but with talks having stalled, Neville can see some of Europe's superclubs making a move in the years to come.

"I don't think he will stay at Liverpool for the rest of his career," the player-turned-pundit said on Sky Sports' Overlap fans' forum.

"It's my personal view. It's always been that view but I could be wrong."

"The Premier League would be weaker if he left. I just think you look at someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Kylian Mbappe, it's not all about the money.

"I think Salah's got to experience Real Madrid, the Bernabeu - Real Madrid are going to come back, by the way," Neville claimed.

"I know it's not great at the moment at Barcelona and Madrid but Salah is similar to those I've just mentioned, I think he has to have that on his CV at the end of his career."

"I think he's done an unbelievable job at Liverpool. I've just always felt he wants a Paris [Saint-Germain], a Real Madrid, a Barcelona and I think he'll go and get it.."

Ex-United midfielder Paul Scholes was also on the panel, but he disagreed with his former teammate's prediction.

"They [Barcelona and Real Madrid] are not in as high esteem as they were two or three years ago," Scholes pointed out.

"If he wants to be the best player on the planet, he has to stay at Liverpool. He has to stay in England.
