The RB Salzburg striker has also been earmarked as a target for European giants Manchester United and Juventus.
But Sky Germany have reported that he paid a visit to Germany recently with agent Mino Raiola.
The duo reportedly traveled across Europe following Salzburg's Champions League game with Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Their private jet took them to Dortmund & Leipzig and they had meetings with both clubs.
Leipzig is a sister club of Salzburg as both teams are owned by energy drink company Red Bull.
It's increasing the speculation that the 19-year-old will be leaving the Austrian outfit in the January transfer window.

He's burst onto the world stage in this season's Champions League and scored eight goals in the group stages.
His domestic form has also been ridiculous, scoring 16 goals in 14 games.
Salzburg dropping down to the Europa League will likely impact if the youngster decides to leave in the coming window rather than wait until the summer.
