Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly 'doesn't see Juventus at his level' and it could lead to a mega transfer this summer.

The past week has been a tough one for the Portuguese superstar following Juve's Champions League elimination.

Ronaldo was blamed for turning away from Sergio Oliveira's free-kick that earned Porto a passage into the quarter-finals on Tuesday evening.

Tancredi Palermi claims a source within Ronaldo's entourage has indicated the five-time Ballon d'Or winner thinks he is above Juventus.

Ronaldo's current contract expires in 2022 and he is by far and away Juventus' biggest earner on a whopping €400,000-per-week.

A return to former side Real Madrid has been rumoured with agent Jorge Mendes said to have made contact with the 'Los Blancos' hierarchy.

Manager Zinedine Zidane has refused to shoot down the rumours and instead paid tribute to Ronaldo.

He said per Goal: "You know what he is, what he has done and how much love we have for him.

"He made history here, he's magnificent.

"Now, he is a Juve player and I cannot tell you anything about what they (media) are saying. He's a Juve player and I have to respect these things."

Ronaldo, meanwhile, has posted a message to social media following his error in the week.

The former Manchester United man said in an Instagram post: "More important than the number of falls you take in life, is how fast and how strong you get back on your feet... True champions never break!

"Our focus is already in Cagliari, in the Serie A struggle, in the Italian Cup final and in everything that we can still achieve this season.

"It's true that the past belongs in museums (I should say!), but fortunately, football has memory... and so do I!

"History can't be deleted, it's written every single day with resilience, team spirit, persistence and lots of hard work. And those who don't understand this, will never achieve glory and success."

Reigning Serie A champions Juventus take on Cagliari on Sunday and are currently ten points behind league leaders Inter Milan, albeit with a game in hand.
