Alex Telles refused to answer questions surrounding his future after agreeing personal terms with Manchester United. The left-back at Porto has been linked with becoming United's second signing of the summer and is inching closer to the move.

Manchester United seemed to have sped up in regards to their transfer market dealings.

After their embarrassing loss to Crystal Palace to the tune of 3-1, it is clear to see that United are in dire need of reinforcements.

Even though Red Devils fans will be happy to see Donny Van De Beek scoring on his debut for the club after only playing 23 minutes off the bench, more is needed.

Alex Telles, the Brazilian left-back currently at FC Porto has been the player targeted to become United's second signing of the window.

After Mouhamed Bouhafsi, Fabrizio Romano and sources found that United had agreed personal terms and were now only having to deal with Porto, Telles was asked about the interest after he played what could be his last game for the Portuguese side.

The Brazilian scored twice for Porto against Braga, both from the penalty spot showing the 'Manchester United DNA' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be glad to see.

Post-game, Telles said:

"I'm a guy who focuses a lot on work, people believe what they want, say what they want in the newspapers, but the most important thing is to be focused on my work," Telles told Sport TV.

"You know that and so do my teammates, whatever happens, I'm focused on the club, I'm here, I'm playing."

Telles wouldn't commit to his current club though saying:

"I have people who work for me, I just have to focus on what my job is.

"If I knew anything, I wouldn't need to have people working for me. I have people who take care of that and I have to focus on my work."

FC Porto are asking for €20 million for the full-back with United ready to pay the fee in the next coming days.
