The top 10 most complete football players in world football have been revealed. The list consists of some of Europe's most famous names.

A complete footballer can be categorised as a player who can do everything.

Someone who can score, pass, dribble and defend at a high level are normally regarded as some of the most complete footballers at the time.

Stats website, statschecker.com have created their own score to compile a ranking of the most complete footballers in Europe.

The score is comprised of goals, tackles, clinical passes, assists, successful runs, accurate shots and shots on target.

The top 10 as follows:

10. Cristiano Ronaldo - Juventus (351)

9. Rodrigo De Paul - Udinese (357)

8. Filip Kostic - Eintracht Frankfurt (365)

7. Alejandro Gomez - Atalanta (371)

5. Adama Traore - Wolves (391)

4. Emiliano Buendia - Norwich City (393)

The Argentine comes out on top of another ranking, as is the norm these days.

Messi scored a points total of 507, 100 more than second place, with Kevin De Bruyne being closer to 15th place in the rankings than the top spot.

The Barcelona legend registered 26 assists to go with 31 goals in all competitions this season, his highest ever assist total.

Buendia makes the top five after an incredible showing for Norwich in the Premier League. Buendia created the fourth highest amount of chances in the Premier League as well as the most tackles in the league by any forward.
