The Teams With Most Trophy Wins In Club Football History Have Been Named

Rangers have now moved into second on the list of football's most decorated clubs - and just two behind top spot.

Steven Gerrard's side was confirmed Scottish Premiership champions over the weekend after Celtic failed to beat Dundee United.

It ends a decade of dominance for Celtic and gives Rangers their 55th league title and 116th trophy overall.

That is just two behind Egyptian outfit Al Ahly, who have notched 118 trophies in their 113 year history.

European juggernauts Barcelona and Bayern Munich feature in the top ten, with both sides winning the Champions League multiple times in the last decade.

Manchester United are the highest English team in the rankings, having won 66 pieces of silverware throughout the years.

They are six trophies ahead of current Premier League champions Liverpool, who have managed to win the domestic title, Champions League and Club World Cup in the last two years.
