Verratti's inclusion at the top is likely down to PSG's unbeaten run in the Champions League and dominance in Ligue 1.
The 27-year-old has been instrumental in midfield as PSG sit 12 points clear in France.
PSG have the highest number of players in the top 10, with Verratti accompanied by Thiago Silva, Idrissa Gueye and Kylian Mbappe.

Joe Gomez has recently returned to the Liverpool backline and they look much stronger for it.
'The Reds' have conceded eight goals in Gomez's last 35 games which shows he is the perfect candidate to partner Virgil van Dijk.
Van Dijk comes just behind Gomez in fourth place to show what a defensive force Jurgen Klopp has created.
Interestingly, Ronaldo and Messi come in very low on the scale despite their reputation as being two of the greatest ever.
Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in his first six games of 2020 and it's fired Juventus back to the top of Serie A.
Messi, meanwhile, has managed four goals since the turn of the year but Barcelona have slipped three points behind Real Madrid in the La Liga title race.
