Not every defender is solid at the back...

Leicester City's Ricardo Pereira is the Premier League defender who has been dribbled past most this season.

The Portuguese full-back impressed in the first half of the season but a knee injury meant he didn't feature for the Foxes after football's restart.

His attacking prowess helped Brendan Rodgers' side stand out as one of the division's most exciting sides.

WhoScored have revealed that his defensive work wasn't as impressive however, with the 26-year-old being dribbled past 1.9 times per game.

One defender who is always brought up when it comes to being dribbled past is Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutchman has been a stalwart in Liverpool's defence this season as they romped to their first ever Premier League title.

His dribbled past stat reads 0.2 per game which is mightily impressive - but not the best in the league.

That honour goes to Manchester United's Victor Lindelof and Aston Villa's Tyrone Mings, who were dribbled past just 0.1 times per game this campaign.

Lindelof regularly partnered Harry Maguire at the back this year as United finished inside the top four.

Meanwhile, Mings helped Villa avoid relegation after a remarkable final few weeks of the season.
