A YouTube channel has ranked a footballer from every age group between 18 and 38 who is currently overpaid.

YouTube channel HITC Sport have decided to create the definitive ranking of players who could be judged as 'stealing a living' on their current salary.

The standout player in this list is likely Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.

De Gea signed a bumper new contract with the Red Devils back in September and became the highest paid goalkeeper in world football.

However, the 29-year-old has made a number of high profile mistakes this season with many United fans questioning if he is past his prime.
