A football fan has created the ultimate Twitter thread of all-time great commentary moments and it will give you goosebumps.

Commentary has become an art in modern football and the right voice coupled with the right delivery can make iconic moments legendary.

Twitter user @TheLampardView decided to compile all these moments together and it features some of football's finest moments.

The thread is still being added to at the time of writing but there are already some absolute belters included.

Wayne Rooney's famous bicycle kick goal against Manchester City is jaw dropping from any angle but Peter Drury's commentary adds so much more.

It's not the first time Drury will be appearing in this list and the man is widely regarded as one of the best in his field.

Andy Gray also features in the thread and it comes as no surprise it's thanks to 'OHHH YOU BEAUTY, WHAT A HIT SON', following a Steven Gerrard thunderbolt vs Olympiacos.

We all remember Gary Neville's 'UNBELIEVABLE' and other strange noises following Fernando Torres' goal for Chelsea against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Check out a few more examples below.

One of the names that crops up most when discussing commentary is Martin Tyler.

Tyler's career has spanned across multiple decades and he is most know for his work on Sky Sports.

The 74-year-old discussed with The Independent in 2017, the 'AGUERROOOOO' moment.

"It was like an out-of-body experience. I've heard it lots of times and it would be wrong of me to say I don't enjoy hearing it," he explained.

"I don't think I messed it up."

What do you think is the greatest commentary call ever?
