You may be surprised to learn that Everton join Liverpool and Arsenal the top three, while Manchester United ironically sit in fourth position with 6403 points.

Everton have played in the top flight of English football for all but four seasons since it's inception in 1888, with only Arsenal having a longer unbroken run at the highest level.

Aston Villa, Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea make up the top eight, while some relatively unknown clubs feature among some of the giants of the game, including Glossop North End and Darwen FC.

The current European Champions are the best performing side in Europe's top five leagues and top a table of the leagues all put together.
