Thibaut Courtois Makes Massive Blunder Days After Criticising Jordan Pickford

This is why it's always best not to make dickish comments.

Thibaut Courtois has made a massive blunder in the World Cup, just days after he criticised Jordan Pickford for his error.

After Belgium's encounter with England in the final game of the group stage, the Chelsea goalkeeper had some harsh words about Pickford, after the Everton goalie used an unconventional method of attempting to save Adnan Januzaj winning goal.

It appears the the former Sunderland keeper led with the wrong arm, but this has been contested: some felt that Pickford did, in fact, led with the correct arm, whilst some felt otherwise.

Either way, there's no need for nastiness, is there?

Courtois made his feelings known.

"The goalkeeper is 10cm smaller than me," he told Belgian outlet Voetball2 via the Metro.

"I would have caught it.

"He was too busy throwing his legs in the air."

You shouldn't throw stones if you live in glass houses, Thibaut.

In Belgium's Round of 16 game against Japan, where they cam out 3-2 winners in a dramatic match, the towering keeper almost let in a mild deflection from the opposition.

And now social media have reminded the 26-year-old of his comments about his fellow Premier League keeper.

This may get Courtois to think twice about his comments in the future.
