Thiago Silva's wife, Isabele da Silva, has piled in on Daniel Amartey on social media after her husband the two had a touchline row during Chelsea's 2-1 win over Leicester.

Amartey had angered Chelsea players by posing with, then throwing away, the club's pennant during Leicester's FA Cup celebrations on Saturday. And the Blues players were in no mood to forgive and forget when a Ricardo Pereira challenge sparked a late brawl involving Amartey on Tuesday.

Thiago Silva was front and centre getting in the Leicester substitute's face and Belle Silva shared her thoughts on Twitter afterwards.

"That's right Thiago Silva show who's boss," she tweeted alongside an image of her husband confronting the player, which was already captioned: 'We didn't forget you Amartey'.

Belle Silva, who attended the evening kick-off at Stamford Bridge, gave live updates on what was happening in the game via her Instagram.

At one point she even broke into a chant of: "We hate Tottenham," which we're not sure is entirely advisable.

While veteran Brazilian defender Thiago Silva has impressed on the pitch since signing for Chelsea in the summer after a lengthy stint at Paris Saint-Germain, Belle Silva has also made an impact in London.

She slammed Timo Werner's finishing after Chelsea's Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid, for which Thiago apologised to his teammate. However she made amends herself by sharing her approval for Werner when he scored in Chelsea's second-leg win.

It seems doubtful that Belle Silva will feel moved to apologise to Daniel Amartey given how the last two games between Chelsea and Leicester have gone.
