Pep Guardiola has seemingly been caught up in World Cup fever as he is giving thought to moving onto managing at international level after his time with Manchester City.
The Catalan has just won the Premier League title with the Citizens and is now looking forward to getting underway in pre-season with them.
Guardiola has just put pen to paper and signed a contract that will see him remain at the Etihad until 2021 - but this doesn't mean he has not considered his options for the future already.
According to the Metro, there are two positions which interest the 47-year-old greatly: Argentina and Brazil.
The two nations are the biggest names at international level. Considering the awful 2018 World Cup Argentina had, Guardiola earning major trophies with them would be a big statement about his managerial prowess, given that he's accused by some of being a manager riding on the luck of the heavy backing of rich owners.
At international level, if you're in need of a left-winger, for instance, you can't just go out and buy one; you have to make use of what you've got.

Brazil remain in the World Cup and are favourites to win. Their dominance in the international stage as declined somewhat, though.
Both of these sides would work wonders under Guardiola, but it would be a shame to have the boss out of regular football, such as the Premier League and Champions League.
