Huddersfield Town were knocked out of the EFL Cup last night to Championship side Stoke City, losing 2-0 in the competition - but the major talking point was the incredible own goal that was scored.

Juninho's are known for their pinpoint accuracy from long-range, but Town's Juninho Bacuna would want to forget this one.
The 21-year-old found himself with the ball just by the halfway line. He decided to play it safe by looping the ball over to the goalkeeper.
Little did he know, however, that the goalie was miles off his line, and so the ball found its way into the back of the net.

Wow.
I completely blame the keeper! Theyre getting notions they can play outfield! @14Becks14 @DarrenCotterell

It's impressive perhaps not quite as impressive as Jamie Pollock's mesmerising own-goal.
Playing for the now dominant Manchester City against QPR, Pollock flicked the ball over an attacker before sending a header over the top of his own goalie.
It's gone down in football folklore as one of the greatest own-goals ever to be scored. And it's no surprise, really. It's an absolute worldie in it's own right.
