Martin Hinteregger Produces The Greatest Goal Line Clearance Of All Time

Eintracht Frankfurt's Martin Hinteregger produced one of the greatest ever goal line clearances against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
A mistake from Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp saw Jonas Hofmann through on goal with two teammates to his right and Hinteregger the sole defender on the line.
With the game entering the dying embers and Monchengladbach 3-1 up, Hofmann decided to take the glory for himself but was met with a defiant Hinteregger.
The Austrian defender stretched out his leg and cleared Hofmann's shot off the line as his shocked teammates looked on.
This clearance! :scream:

Fans on social media have reacted to the block and it's fair to say the 27-year-old earned a few more admirers this evening.

Despite his clearance, Frankfurt couldn't use it as a springboard to launch a comeback and Marco Rose's side ran out victors.
They opened the scoring in the first minute through Alassane Plea as the Frenchman fired home a first time strike.
Monchengladbach doubled their lead six minutes later as Marcus Thuram tapped into an open net to give his side a comfortable lead.
Ramy Bensebaini added a third in the second half from the penalty spot before Andre Silva netted a consolation nine minutes from time.
We're SO glad it's back...

The result moves Monchengladbach into third, one point ahead of RB Leipzig and two behind Borussia Dortmund respectively.
Earlier in the day, Leipzig drew 1-1 with Freiburg while Dortmund romped to a 4-0 victory over rivals Schalke.
League leaders Bayern Munich return to action on Sunday against Union Berlin.
What do you think of Hinteregger's block and could it be one of the greatest of all time?
