Hazard completed the most take ons in the Champions League all evening with six, while misplacing just one of his passes in the final third.
It has been a tough time in Spain for the 29-year-old, with injury problems mounting since arriving from Chelsea in 2019.
Fans were quick to praise him for a quality performance against Antonio Conte's side.
Much like Neymar, Hazard can play anywhere on the pitch. Rarely anyone can take the ball from them so they can create from everywhere. We need more of this from Hazard!

A baller. Hoping he's fully healthy for the rest of the season. He deserves that

Characteristic Hazard performance. It feels like he's been much slower though. If he regains his pace I'm afraid it's game over for LaLiga https://t.co/70FAJmnnWk

Hazard spoke following the game and said: "The team performed really well to assure ourselves of three very important points.
"There are two group games left to win now and we need all the points we can get.
"Scoring was important to me but far more important was winning.
"I need more matches, more game time, to build my confidence and sharpness but I did well tonight."

It ended up being a comfortable evening for Madrid after Arturo Vidal was sent off in the first half.
The former Barcelona man was cautioned for a dive, before getting his second booking for shouting at referee Anthony Taylor.
Substitute Rodrygo's second half strike went in off Achraf Hakimi to seal the three points for Zinedine Zidane's side.
Madrid are now second in Group B on seven points, one behind leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.
