Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana has thanked the Premier League and Crystal Palace players for allowing him to break his fast mid-match.

The 20-year-old took to Twitter following Monday's 2-1 win and gave a special shoutout to his Leicester teammates as well as Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
He said: Just wanted to thank the Premier League as well as Crystal Palace, Vicente Guaita all [sic] the Foxes for allowing me to break my fast tonight in the middle of the game. That's what makes football wonderful."

He played the full 90 minutes last night however as Leicester took a huge step towards Champions League qualification.

Palace did take the lead inside 12 minutes thanks to Wilfried Zaha finishing off a slick counter attack.
Timothy Castagne equalised early in the second half before Kelechi Iheanacho's thunderbolt ten minutes from time earned all three points.
Leicester need three wins from their final five games to qualify for the Champions League.

Last year saw them miss out on the final day and Rodgers praised his side's desire after coming from a goal behind.
"We had that hunger and desire. It's a real collective win," said Rodgers per Enfield Independent.
"I always look forward and never behind, there are still five games to go and tonight we equalled our points total from last season. Now we can recover from three tough games in nine days.
"We are constantly looking to improve. Each year you are always looking to improve in terms of maturity and football.
