Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka has taken lockdown workouts to a whole new level after emerging absolutely shredded for the Bundesliga restart.

German's top division has now had three matchdays worth of action and players are quickly regaining match fitness.

One man who has caught everyone's eye is Goretzka, with the 25-year-old impressing for the league leaders.

A reason for this could be his insane physique which Bayern Munich's Twitter account have praised.

Bayern also tweeted other images of Goretzka training and showing him slowly become more of an absolute beast.

Goretzka has been athletic throughout his career but was slender during his days at Schalke and early time with Bayern.

Fans have reacted to the images on social media and they are in disbelief at the transformation.

Goretzka has started in all three games since the league restarted and opened the scoring in a 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend.

If the rest of the Bayern squad have trained as hard as Goretzka, it'll be hard to stop them marching to Bundesliga and maybe even Champions League glory.

Hansi Flick's side ran out 1-0 winners against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night to move seven points ahead with eight games remaining.

Joshua Kimmich's delightful lob was the difference but the game wasn't without controversy.

Dortmund's teenage sensation Erling Haaland saw his shot blocked by Jerome Boateng's hand with the referee and VAR not picking up on it.

Do you think Bayern Munich could win the Champions League this year?
