Footballers past and present have come out in support of Mason Greenwood following more negative reports about the Manchester United forward.
A story from The Mirror claims there is a 'genuine belief' the 19-year-old could emulate former academy graduate Ravel Morrison's career.

Off-field issues impacted Morrison's career and he left the club without playing a single game.
The unfair treatment of Greenwood has been called out by fans, including Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand.

Both United legends took to Twitter and expressed their disgust, with Neville even unfollowing The Mirror.
While Ferdinand asked the publication to 'name the Manchester United officials' they had obtained the information from.

Morrison himself also commented and called the treatment of Greenwood 'madness.'
Greenwood netted 17 goals in all competitions last season to help United to third place and three cup semi-finals.
But this season has been one of hardships so far and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to shield the teenager from negativity.

An image circulated earlier this week showing Greenwood 'liking' an Instagram post explaining his situation.
It reads: "'Greenwood looks tired' 'Greenwood isn't trying hard enough' 'Greenwood needs to fix up' Mason Greenwood just lost a close friend to suicide and has been endlessly attacked and abused by football fans and the media for months now, leave the kid alone."

Greenwood has made eight appearances so far this season, scoring twice.
This weekend has also seen fellow forward Marcus Rashford take a stand against the British media.
The Daily Mail revealed Rashford has invested in property this year and used the phrase 'campaigning football star.'
The 23-year-old hit back on social media saying: "Ok, so let's address this. I'm 23. I came from little. I need to protect not just my future but my family's too. To do that I made a decision at the beg of 2020 to start investing more in property. Please don't run stories like this alongside refs to 'campaigning.'"
