Carlton Cole sent a fan £400 after his shocking performance on the drills during Saturday morning's Soccer AM.
The former West Ham striker was a guest on the Sky Sports show this morning and simply had a disasterclass on the 'Pro AM' segment.
However, the fan took to Twitter and shared that Cole had sent him £400 for messing up their chances of doubling their cash on the show.

Cole verified the claim by tweeting out: '@SoccerAM definitely brought the worst and the best out of me... that's Carlton Cole for ya!'
The former England international was praised on social media for his kind gesture.
Cole's finishing was very poor during the challenge - so bad in fact that you would have thought that actor Ralf Little was the professional footballer and not him.

Despite the below-par performance, Cole then had the chance to make amends and double the fans' money with a 'double or quits' penalty.
But the 36-year old bottled it big-time when he tried to be cute and chipped his Panenka over the bar.
It's not the first time a footballer has dipped into his own pocket after a poor showing on the football programme.

Jesse Lingard made a similar gesture last year when he handed six fans £100 a piece after he fluffed his spot-kick while on the show.
