An opponent once attempted to stop Neymar completely humiliating him in the most unique way possible - collapsing to his knees and begging.

The Brazilian took part in a charity match back in 2017 to raise money for those affected by the Chapecoense tragedy.

Seventy-one of the 77 people on board LaMia Flight 2933 died when a plane carrying the Brazilian side crashed en route to Colombian city Medellin in November 2016.

Neymar came face to face with social media influencer Fred Desimpedidos during the game who decided he wanted no part of the Paris Saint-Germain man.

Neymar collected the ball on the left wing and he weighed up his options before his opponent's hilarious actions.

Desimpedidos, who has 4.9 million followers on Instagram, collapsed to his knees and pleaded: 'Please don't do this to me, Ney!'

The 28-year old appears to sympathise with his opponent at first and gestures to do him no harm.

However, he then busts out a lovely body feint before a sublime piece of skill to drift past Desimpedidos.

Fans on YouTube are still loving the clip three years on.

One user commented: 'That's the sickest move I've ever seen.'

A second explained: "Neymar is savage. Too bad his pass got blocked right after."

While a third simply stated: "Neymar is the most entertaining footballer to watch."

The game was a star-studded affair with Neymar and fellow Brazilian Robinho as captains of either side.

Kaka, Gabriel Jesus and Formula One star Felipe Massa also played in the game which was a riveting spectacle for fans.

Neymar's XI ran out 13-9 winners and it's safe to say he stole the show on the pitch.

His time in France hasn't yielded the success he will have hoped but fans have still been wowed by the skills he has busted out.

January saw him use a rather unique 'butt pass' against Stade Reims.
