Paris Saint-Germain have a deadly strike force in Edinson Cavani, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. But if you only had the choice between the Brazilian or the Frenchman for your team, who would you choose?

Enter Diego Simeone, who has revealed the ideal pick for his team. Surprisingly, there'll be some out there, if not most, that will be shocked why he selected Neymar over Mbappé.

"Neymar, sure, Neymar works, Mbappé is much more individualistic," Simeone told Marca (via a rough translation).

There's no doubt that many people out there will disagree with the Atlético Madrid manager's selection.

Mbappé had an instrumental role for France over the summer, playing in seven matches and scoring four goals for Les Bleus in their successful World Cup campaign.

Neymar, on the other hand, underperformed for Brazil and was even caught in the spotlight for diving in the tournament.

Simeone, who has been heavily linked with Inter Milan, has also spoken about the glaring omission of Jan Oblak in the FIFA FIFPro World 11 shortlist.

"Oblak is among the best three in the world, not being in that group gives you little credibility," he said. "The world talks to Oblak as the best goalkeeper."

In fact, El Cholo took it a step further. When he was told that he had a choice between Atlético's current 'keeper and their former shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois, who is now at rivals Real Madrid, he wasn't afraid to say it like it is.

"Courtois would not be a starter at Atlético, Oblak is better," he said.
