Kasper Schmeichel Rushed To The Scene And Shed Tears At Helicopter Crash In Front Of Him

Kasper Schmeichel was left devastated by the helicopter crash outside of the King Power Stadium after Leicester City's 1-1 draw to West Ham.

Leicester City shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel broke down in tears after the helicopter crash that occurred at the King Power Stadium.

According to the Guardian, the security at the scene were trying to control the situation and to stop onlookers from taking photos and videos of the wreckage.

One witness told the BBC that the Foxes number one rushed out towards the helicopter crash.

Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was leaving the King Power on a private helicopter when it crashed into the stadium's car park.

Leicestershire Police said at the time: "We are dealing with an incident in the vicinity of the King Power Stadium. Emergency services are aware and dealing."

A spokesman for Leicester City has added: "We are assisting Leicestershire Police and the Emergency Services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium. The Club will issue a more detailed statement once further information has been established."

According to Sky sources, Leicester City vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and director of football Jon Rudkin were not on board the helicopter.
