Alexis Sanchez admits that he is struggling to find form at Manchester United.

The Chile international made the move away from Arsenal during the January transfer window as part of a deal which saw Armenian head in the opposite direction. Sanchez, despite being one of the Gunner's brightest players, fell out of favour with the supporters, after it became apparent that he wanted to move on to greater things, namely to win a title and put in a good challenge for the Champions League.

But things haven't gone well for the Sanchez ever since he joined up with Jose Mourinho's side, with the Guardian's Manchester correspondent Jamie Jackson reporting that the attacker said: "I think that in every game I've played in I've maybe found it hard to adapt to the style of play and I've been getting to know my team-mates."

Man United finished second place in the league this year. It's their best position in five years, when they last won the league under Sir Alex Ferguson. But, even so, it's felt as though the rate of progression under Mourinho is going too slow. The Red Devils bowed out of the Champions League to Sevilla in the knockout stages and were similarly lethargic and lacklustre in their 1-0 F.A Cup final defeat to Chelsea last weekend. It means the side end the season without picking up any silverware.

Supporters aren't best pleased:

Does the blame fall on the players or on the manager? Well, it's obvious that players on the Man United side haven't been performing as well as they could be. Sanchez, for example, is normally prolific in front of goal, but for Man United, he has only so far scored three goals in 18 games. Something is clearly wrong, and reports now suggest that Man United are looking bring in £250 million worth of talent over the summer, to ensure that they can compete with rivals Manchester City this time around.
