San Lorenzo defender Gabriel Rojas has put his name in the frame for the goal of the season with a stunning strike against Platense in the Argentine Primera Division.
The 23-year-old left-back takes a touch on the edge of the box to control a cross before unleashing a brilliant bicycle kick past the Platense keeper from fully 20 yards.
The strike put San Lorenzo 3-2 up and they went on to score another to move up to second spot in the table.

Even more amazingly, it was Rojas' first goal in professional football having made his debut back in November 2016. Not a bad way to open your account.
The video is worth watching for the commentary alone.
