Mohamed Salah has broken the record of scoring the most amount of goals in a 38 game Premier League season.

The Egyptian King netted the opener in Liverpool's final game of the season against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The record was level between five players at 31 goals in 38 games: Alan Shearer, (Blackburn Rovers, 1995-96) Cristiano Ronaldo, (Manchester United, 2007-08) Luis Suárez (Liverpool, 2013-14), and of course Salah for this season, but now the record has been broken, as the 25-year-old taken to record to 32 - a phenomenal achievement from a player who seems to keep on achieving.

The attack won the Premier League Player of the Season Award today, to add to his already impressive and extensive collection. Salah seems to keep breaking record after record, but eyes will surely be on the player earning the Ballon D'or - a surely achievable feat should the Reds do the unthinkable and beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Kiev. Imagine the scenes if he does it. All hail King Salah. Now to show the naysayers you're no one season wonder, pal.
