The 12 Videos That Prove Virgil Van Dijk Is Different Class To Harry Maguire
Maguire became the world's most expensive defender last summer when he swapped Leicester City for United in a transfer worth up to £80 million.
Meanwhile, Liverpool themselves broke the transfer record for a defender in 2018 when they secured van Dijk's services for £75 million.
While Maguire has become United captain and shored up their defence, he has made a number of mistakes in key moments - with one coming in last night's 2-2 draw with Southampton.
It's in stark contrast to van Dijk who has managed to showcase why some rate him as the best defender in the world.
Fans have dug up some of the duo's defending since their respective transfers and it's clear to see one man has been far ahead of the other.

Last night's draw stopped United moving up to third in the Premier League table and Maguire said after the game he was "disappointed."
"We're disappointed as we had control of the game and had numerous chances to kill it off," the 27-year-old told Sky Sports. "We weren't at our best. There are areas that we need to improve on, but we did enough to win the game. A set play has killed us in the end.
"The second half was a bit of a slog and we weren't good enough on the ball.
"We brought pressure onto ourselves and we didn't get the third to kill it off. Going down to 10 men was unfortunate but hopefully Brandon [Williams] is OK.
"We've been really good on set plays during this run, but they've managed to get a flick on at the near post. We'll have to look back at it to see what went wrong. We're disappointed at the moment but we'll dust ourselves down and try to pick up another three points."
