Romelu Lukaku has finally reacted to his celebration many believed was "aimed" at Zlatan Ibrahimovic - with Lukaku admitting he "talked a lot of s**t."

Inter Milan ran out 3-0 winners over bitter rivals AC on Sunday afternoon and Lukaku netted their third goal.

The Belgian international ran to the corner flag and reportedly shouted 'Dio, diooo' which means God, in reference to his bad blood with Ibrahimovic.

Lukaku addressed the drama in a Twitter Q&A and while he remained quiet on what was actually said, he admits he may have got a little carried away.

Journalist Emanuel Roşu dissected the clip with a rough translation following the game.

"I listened again and again. Can be "Io", which translates as "me", could be "Dio", which translates as God. Obviously addressed to Zlatan either way.

"Zlatan previously said he is the "God" of Milan, so any of the two above would make sense."

Ibrahimovic has frequently referred to himself as a "God" throughout his illustrious career.

Tensions between Lukaku and Ibrahimovic have boiled since a clash in last month's Coppa Italia, during which the pair nearly came to blows.

Other questions asked during the Q&A involved Lukaku's time in England, specifically Manchester United.

One fan asked about his relationship with current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who sanctioned the 27-year-old moving to Italy.

Lukaku said: "He is doing great. You guys have to know I love him as a manager and as a person and I wish him nothing but the best."

Another asked about his time at Chelsea which received a response of: "Nothing but love. They gave me an opportunity to come to the Premier League as a kid. You can't have everything in life and I'm cool with that. I'm glad that experience got me to where I am today."

While he believes Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is currently the world's best forward.

Lukaku replied: "Robert Lewandowski. . Love his work ethic and his game! True professional."
