Cristiano Ronaldo once rattled Fernando Torres so badly, the pair nearly came to blows in the middle of a game.

Torres was never known for being a hothead forward in his time, but tensions flared up when Atletico Madrid entertained bitter rivals Real in 2017.

In a tension-filled Champions League semi-final clash, Real were leading 4-2 on aggregate thanks to Isco.

Ronaldo responded by 'shushing' the home end and boyhood Atletico fan Torres gave him a shove.

The furious Spaniard reportedly shouted: "What are you doing?"

Ronaldo laughed as Torres got in his face but looked to react angrily after being called a 'clown.'

But instead, he rubbed Madrid's victory in the World Cup winner's face and told him to 'go home.'

Torres got the last word in however and remarked Ronaldo was a 'son of a b**ch.'

Madrid would win the Champions League that year after defeating Juventus in the final.

In the modern day, you'd have to bet your money on Torres in a scrap after images of his insane physique emerged online.

'El Nino' called time on his career in 2019 after a spell in Japan with Sagan Tosun and he's spent all that time since in the gym.

Now 36-years-old, he looks incredibly jacked and sports huge shoulders and arms.

We're not sure whether he's followed the training regime of Bayern Munich's players or taken a leaf out of Adama Traore's book but whatever he's been doing, it's producing ridiculous results.

Torres has been working towards becoming a coach by helping out Atleti's B-team, with the players said to have been "amazed" by some of the training sessions he's been putting on.
