"He told me that he would stay [at Bayern]," Flick joked in his post-match press conference per Goal.
"I just thanked him. I don't know [where his future lies], he doesn't know himself yet.
"We'll have to wait and see what happens in the next few days."
Thiago is currently valued at around £27 million and he is entering the final year of his contract.
