Thiago Silva Is The Premier League's Lowest-Rated Player After West Brom Blunder

The Brazilian's debut wasn't the best viewing for Chelsea fans with Silva messing up constantly.

Thiago Silva is currently rated as the Premier League's worst player. This comes after WhoScored.com released their ratings for Chelsea's performance vs West Brom in their 3-3 draw.

Many Chelsea fans were excited to see the acquisition of Thiago Silva in the current summer transfer window.

Joining the West-London side with 28 domestic trophies to his name, Frank Lampard thought that the Brazilian defender would be able to cover the cracks over his questionable defensive tactics.

However once again, another Chelsea defensive player has amassed blunders in their current system.

With Thiago Silva arguably being at mistake for two of West Brom's goals in their insane 3-3 draw on Saturday, WhoScored.com currently have Thiago Silva as the worst-rated player in the Premier League.

The Brazilian was made captain on his debut, much to the shock of football fans with Silva only sharing one similar language with another player in Chelsea's starting XI against West Brom (French with N'Golo Kante).

Chelsea were able to come back nonetheless from 3-0 down after goals from Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Tammy Abraham, albeit Abraham's goal came with a lot of controversy after a handball should've been given against Kai Havertz only seconds before Abraham's equaliser.

Chelsea have only amassed four points from their opening three games, already dropping five points. The worrying statistic will be the six goals conceded in the three games showing that Chelsea are still incredibly shaky defensively.

What do you think of Thiago Silva's performance for Chelsea?
