Manchester United defender Eric Bailly produced a vital injury time block vs Aston Villa - with his heroics being praised by teammates.

United ran out 2-1 winners at Old Trafford and it has taken them level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

It was an enthralling encounter and Villa could've snatched an equaliser right at the end. Keinan Davis fired towards goal but Bailly flung his body in the way to clear the danger.

The Ivorian international was then mobbed by teammates at full-time in a great show of team spirit.

Fans have reacted to the embrace and they think it's one of the most wholesome moments of the season.

United took the lead in the first half through Anthony Martial, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cross catching Villa's defence off guard.

Martial got down low to head past Emiliano Martinez and register his seventh goal contribution in six games.

Dean Smith's side equalised 12 minutes into the second half through Bertrand Traore as the Red Devils defence switched off.

Three minutes later, Paul Pogba burst into the opposing box and was brought down by Douglas Luiz to win a penalty.

Bruno Fernandes stepped up to fire home and seal all three points for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
